The PULSE SUB+ is a wireless subwoofer that will easily pair to most existing Bluesound Players as a FIXED Group. See a full list of compatible players at the bottom of this article.

Network Setup
Wired: A wired connection to the network is simple and requires no network configuration. If you wish to use the wired connection, simply connect the PULSE SUB+ directly to your router or home network using an Ethernet cable. It will appear in the Player Drawer labeled 'NEEDS SETUP'. Tap it and fall on-screen prompts to name the SUB+ and check for a firmware update. Please scroll down to Pairing with your Existing Bluesound Player for the next steps.
Wireless: A wireless connection allows you to place your PULSE SUB+ virtually anywhere in your home but does require some setup. The process is very easy but slightly differs between iOS (Apple) and Android. Please follow the below instructions for the smartphone or tablet that applies to you. Windows and Mac users please see the instructions under Wireless Manual Setup below.

Pairing with your Existing Bluesound Player
- Ensure the BluOS Player you wish to pair with is on and connected to the network
- Play something through that Player to make sure the Player is not in Standby Mode
- Open the Player Drawer by pressing the House icon in the top right corner of the App
- Scroll down to My Subwoofers and select the Link icon next to the PULSE SUB+
- Select the desired Bluesound Player from all the Players listed and press Continue
- Press Finish
Unpairing a PULSE SUB+
- Open the Player Drawer by pressing the House icon in the top right corner of the App
- Select the Player with the PULSE SUB+ paired
- Open the Player context menu (3 dots) and select Audio Settings
- Tap Subwoofer in Audio Settings Menu
- From the Subwoofer menu, select unpair at the bottom of the menu
Notes
- Alternatively, you can connect the PULSE SUB+ wired directly to any existing Bluesound Gen 2 or newer Player or a Bluesound Gen 1 Powernode using Subwoofer Cable (not included)
- The PULSE SUB+ LED will pulse blue and purple if the PULSE SUB+ is connected to your network but not paired wirelessly with another BluOS Player.
