PULSE SUB is a wireless subwoofer that uses point-to-point technology to directly pair with PULSE SOUNDBAR (Generation 1 and 2i only). To pair PULSE SUB with other Bluesound Generation 2/2i models, use the Bluesound RT100 wireless speaker link (sold separately).

When PULSE SUB is connected to a power outlet and turned on, the status indicator LED turns solid Blue after 15 seconds and turns off after another 15 seconds.
Getting Started
- Remove the rubber stopper labeled Bluesound on top of PULSE SUB.
- Set the CROSSOVER to 120Hz.
- Set the PHASE to 0º.
- Set the POWER MODE SWITCH (three-way) to ON.
- If pairing with a PULSE SOUNDBAR (Gen1/2i) or RT100, set the volume to 5.
- If connecting using a wired cable, set the volume to 9.
- Replace the rubber stopper.
Pairing with a PULSE SOUNDBAR (Generation 1 and 2i only)
Prerequisites:

- PULSE SUB is powered on.
- PULSE SOUNDBAR is powered on, connected to the network, and not in Standby Mode (play any audio).
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer .
- Select the PULSE SOUNDBAR’s context menu (3 dots) and select Audio Settings. The Audio Settings screen is displayed.
- Select Pair with Pulse Sub.
- Press and hold the PAIRING button on the rear panel of PULSE SUB for ten seconds, then release the button. The status indicator LED on PULSE SUB blinks Green.
The Pair with Pulse Sub status in the BluOS Controller App changes to Pairing and then Connected. The PULSE SUB LED turns off after 15 seconds.
Pairing with an RT100 connected Players
Prerequisites:

- PULSE SUB is powered on.
- Connect RT100 to the Bluesound player or third-party device as instructed in the RT100 Quick Setup Guide.
- Bluesound Player or third-party device is powered on, connected to the network, and not in Standby Mode (play any audio).
- Press and hold the PAIRING button on the rear panel of PULSE SUB for ten seconds, then release the button. The status indicator LED on PULSE SUB blinks Green.
- Press and hold the Status/PAIRING button on RT100 for ten seconds, then release the button. The status indicator LED on RT100 blinks Green.
- Both LEDs turn solid Green and turn off after 15 seconds.
Notes
- Alternatively, you can connect PULSE SUB wired directly to any Bluesound Players (with a SUBW OUT) using a Subwoofer cable (not included in the package).
- The PULSE SUB cannot connect wirelessly with PULSE SOUNDBAR+, due to hardware restrictions.
- The Bluesound RT100 is not supported by the Bluesound Gen1 models.
