Why am I getting the Update Your Account – Amazon Error Notification? – The Bluesound Support Crew

Amazon users who migrated from Amazon Music Unlimited to Amazon Music Prime receive this error on streaming devices. Amazon recently identified an Application error that allowed Prime users to still access premium content available only for Unlimited users from the saved Playlist/Favorites.

Amazon has fixed this error on their servers. When Prime users try to play these previously saved premium content from Playlist/Favorites – Amazon sends this error notification.

To resolve this, perform the following steps:

Launch the BluOS Controller app and navigate to the Music tab .
Under the Music Services section, select Manage > Amazon > Log out.
Tap the Home tab > Settings button .
Under the Help & Support section, tap Diagnostics > Reboot.
When the Player returns to its regular state, navigate to the Music tab .
Under the Music Services section, select Manage > Amazon. Sign in with Amazon credentials.
After logging in with your credentials, you will see your music service as an available source under the Music Services section.

Windows/macOS - Amazon Update Error Fix

In the BluOS Controller App, under the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services.
Select Amazon and select log out.
In the left Navigation Drawer, select Help > Diagnostics > Reboot.
When the Player returns to its regular state, select Music Services > Amazon. Sign in with Amazon credentials.
After logging in with your credentials, you will see Amazon Music Service as an available source in the left Navigation drawer.

Also, try editing the Playlist or Favorites to remove the premium content.
