Bluesound Players can be connected to the HDMI, Optical, or Analog OUT of the TV, depending on the availability of these ports on the Players as well.
Select TV Source
Android/iOS - Select TV Source
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Players tab
. The list of players connected to the BluOS Controller App is displayed.
- Select the required Player connected to the TV.
- Navigate to the Music tab
and under the Inputs section, select the required Input source connected to the TV.
Windows/macOS - Select TV Source
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer.
- Select the required Player connected to the TV.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select the required Input source connected to the TV.
To enable the Bluesound Player to play the sound from the TV automatically, refer to our Help Center article.

Note: The BluOS Interface swap feature (BluOS 3.x.x to/from BluOS 4.x.x) will be discontinued with the release of the latest BluOS firmware in mid-Spring 2024.

Install the BluOS Controller App and select the connected source on the BluOS Controller App’s left Navigation menu.
