Which HDMI Cable should I use?
Bluesound officially recommends using HDMI-certified cabling to resolve any issues with HDMI ARC/eARC.

Note: Orange logo PREMIUM cable supports HDMI 2.0 but should also support most HDMI 2.1. Platinum logo ULTRA cable guarantee supports HDMI 2.1.
Connecting HDMI - Procedure
Note: It is not possible to connect streaming devices directly to a Bluesound Player's ARC/eARC port. Instead, streaming devices should be connected to an HDMI extractor (e.g., TV), which can then be connected to the Bluesound Player. The Bluesound Player is able to receive signals from the extractor.
- Enable the HDMI Control (CEC) on the TV and other HDMI devices connected to the TV.
- If any HDMI device only supports ARC, then configure the eARC/ARC mode on the TV to ARC.
- Unplug the power cord of both the TV and the Bluesound Player. (Powering off only puts specific devices on Standby and is not recommended, completely turn off the power by unplugging the power cord)
- Disconnect all HDMI cables, including signal sources (cable tv, game consoles, etc.), and wait for a few minutes.
- Connect the HDMI cable between the ARC/eARC port of the TV to the ARC/eARC port of the Bluesound Player.
- Plug the power cord to both the TV and the Bluesound Player.
- Wait for a few minutes and turn ON the TV.
The Bluesound Player should be able to play sound from the TV, and you can control the volume using the TV remote. - Set the TV to Standby and connect other signal sources (cable tv, game consoles, etc.). Power on the TV.
Can I connect HDMI ARC with an eARC port?
Yes. eARC is backward compatible with ARC. This connection only has the ARC functionality. In such a scenario, set the eARC/ARC mode on the TV to fixed ARC.
To get complete eARC functionality – both TV and Players should be eARC enabled.
