How to enable or disable proximity sensor in Bluesound Players?

Proximity: Customize how the touch button indicators behave by using the Players' proximity sensors. 

• Enable Proximity: When enabled, the touch buttons will only light up when the proximity sensor detects nearby movement. When disabled, the touch buttons remain continuously lit.

• Proximity Timeout [0 ~ 10s]: Adjust the duration for which the touch button indicators stay active after motion or touch detection ends. Note: Available only when the Enable Proximity option is turned ON.

Enable Proximity sensor and Adjust Proximity Timeout

To enable the Proximity sensor on Bluesound Players, perform the following steps:

Android/iOS - Enable Proximity Sensor & Adjust Proximity Timeout

1. Launch the BluOS Controller app, navigate to the Players tab , and select the required Bluesound Player.
2. Tap the Home tab > Settings button > Player.
3. Tap Proximity.
4. Toggle the Enable Proximity option ON to activate it.
   Toggle it OFF to disable it.
5. Adjust the Proximity Timeout as required.

Windows/macOS - Enable Proximity Sensor & Adjust Proximity Timeout

1. In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer and select the required Player.
2. Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings > Player.
3. Select Proximity.
4. Toggle the Enable Proximity option ON to activate it.
   Toggle it OFF to disable it.
5. Adjust the Proximity Timeout as required.

• Proximity sensor is available on the following Bluesound models:
  • NODE ICON, 
  • NODE (N132), 
  • NODE X, 
  • NODE (N130), and
  • POWERNODE (N330).
