What is the Computer Name of my Mac?

When manually adding a network share, the BluOS Controller App prompts to enter the Mac/share name as \\<ComputerName>\<share>, wherein <ComputerName> is the NetBIOS Name, and <share> is the share folders/subfolders.

To access the NetBIOS Name of the Mac, perform the following steps:

1. On your Mac, select Apple Menu  > System Preferences.
2. Select Network.
3. Select Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
4. Select Advanced and select WINS.

Note:

• Entering the Computer Name displayed from System Preferences > Sharing could result in an error as this name may contain apostrophes or spaces. Use the NetBIOS Name only.
