How can I stream TIDAL HiRes content on BluOS Controller App?

Note: From July 24, 2024, TIDAL will no longer support MQA and 360 Reality Audio formats, shifting to FLAC for stereo sound and Dolby Atmos for immersive sound. MQA tracks in TIDAL will be automatically replaced with FLAC versions. Learn more.

TIDAL subscribers can easily access HiRes content.

Access TIDAL HiRes content

To access HiRes content on TIDAL, perform the following steps:

Android/iOS - Access TIDAL HiRes Content

  1. In the BluOS Controller App, select Music tab Musictab_icon.png to display the Music Sources screen.
  2. Tap Manage in the Music Services section.
  3. Select TIDAL. The TIDAL Authorization screen is displayed.
  4. Select HiRes.

Windows/macOS - Acess TIDAL HiRes Content

  1. Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services > MANAGE.
  2. Select TIDAL. The TIDAL Authorization screen is displayed.
  3. Select HiRes.

TIDAL also includes the bit rate indicator to easily identify HiRes content when browsing available music in the TIDAL music service.
