The Node X Optical OUT keeps emitting signal when the Node is in standby - update required
Hi, I placed a support request in June 2023 for the following problem.
Initial problem
- I use Tidal on Node X.
- I connected active speakers Beolab 20 using the Node’s optical out connection.
- However, when the Node goes into standby (after you stopped the music from the app or the remote, or using OFF on the remote), the optical out connection on the Node still emits signal, causing the speakers to never go to sleep.
Situation since
- The Support team of Bluesound mentioned that they are aware of the issue and can even reproduce it, and that they put a solution on the roadmap.
- However, I haven’t had any updates since, and I did not see anything about this in the firmware update notes either. The issue seems to have died a lonely death.
Awaiting their fix, I haven’t been able use the optical connection and used the analogue out for the time being. I am really unhappy about that, as my speakers rely heavily on DSP.
My questions
- Is there any update on this?
- If not, is there a timeline?
Thanks for your response!
By the way, many others have the same issue
