BluOS 4.0 Failure to Launch ?

So its 10.17.23 and the promised 4.0 version is nowhere to be found.
Oh well, maybe next year.

That's disappointing to hear. I wonder why they delayed it so long? I thought for sure it was because the Eversolo came out and embarrassed Bluesound with their software.

It is on the servers and propagating world wide. No one is embarrassed by anything anyone else does, if there is anything innovative in a competitive product that is always good to see people find new ways to delight customers. Updated on NAD C388 with MDC BlueOS 2.0 and updated my Windows 11 controller app. There's no update for my Android controller still. The first thing that I've bumped in is that I can't change inputs on the NAD amplifier through the app anymore (Windows & old Android). The other little problem is that the volume control on Windows controller is a bit skittish. When I hover the mouse over the volume control and turn the scroller the volume goes up or down only for one increment. When I swich between apps and come back to BlueOS controller it let's me go one step further in one try (up or down) and that's it. When using the volume control the seek bar behaves weirdly, like it's trying to show the volume. Definitely the mouse scroll is trying to control the volume and seek in the same time in my opinion.

An old Bug in the Windows Controller 4.0.0
The search feature for the local library doesn't work for artists, albums, titles (Content not found). Search by composers seems to work.
Very disappointing :-(

When i put the Powernode N330 in the Deep Standby (Holiday Mode) a few minutes later it flashes red & Green , restart‘s and stays then in normal Standby.

Same issue as @beedu.
For example I searched on Eric Clapton and it retrieved all his albums (48).
No Beatles (33 albums). No Mindi Abair (11). No Roberta Sa. No Fleetwood Mac (52 albums).
As I have roughly 14,000 albums this is a bit of a problem. LOL

Congrats on the release of v4!
Apologies if there's a better place to report bugs/feature requests, but on the Mac OS client it seems the "CD/HR" icons are no longer available when streaming Amazon Music. It would be great if at some point sample rate and bit depth were visible on all clients.

NAD M10 V2 firmware 4.0Always display on with a text of the source in the screen, even with the setting of temporary LCD screen. Even after putting volume to zero and the source in pauze mode.
Almost end of the 17th and no APK available, neither direct or by PlayStore

On IOS it looks good now, but in the Titel-horizontal-View the titel or artist is not displayed correctly but half of it. In the vertical view the volume-bar is only displayed at 1/4!?
There is still no Android-App 4.00 -

@Richard McCoy Did you get an email from Bluesound announcing the update? I followed that link to the App Store, and it downloaded immediately. Just FYI!

It's just a link to the BluOS controller app in the play store. Mine is still version 3.20.7 with no update available. I've been refreshing for updates and rebooting my phone throughout the day and no such luck on my day off.

Everything updated to 4.0 this morning. Now my Node 2i unable to recognize USB drive containing my library. It’s FAT32 and has been working properly since I first connected it to my Node 2i in 2021. It was working this morning, but after the update nothing.

I was expecting a new design. Disappointing…
It has a new Home button with different options. Everything else seems exactly the same, which means a very small learning curve...

I'm happy with the improvements, at least from the small amount of time spent using it. I LOVE the fact that you can actually see the resolution now, instead of just "MQA" or "MAX."

Hi.It's 10:20 am here in the UK and there is still no update to the app available on Android. This is very irritating but the definition of a first world problem. Patience is a virtue I guess. If this brouhaha turns out to be a damp squib then Eversolo will be gaining a new customer. 😉

@soundchaser - no EQ, that is more of a product by product thing, adding EQ needs to be done carefully as you often add more noise than anything else by changing the curve and moving power from one band to another. Distortion, amplifier settings and such are always part of that equation. It wouldn't be a general addition
