"Line 1" pauses randomly by the Bluos app
AnsweredHi
Regarding my previous post here:
which was closed for comments. I have some new info.
Today after it happened the 3rd time (no sound from Line 1), I've checked my phone (redmi note 8 pro), and noticed the bluos app is running in the background. When I brought to the foreground I noticed that the "Line1" playback was paused. I clicked on the play button and the sound was restored. So this turned out to be some sort of an app bug after all.
The good news is that I can now recover from the problem w/o having to reset the MCU. I've uninstalled the bluos app on my phone and I'll check for a few days to see if the problem repeats and report back.
I know for sure that I did not press the pause button myself. My phone was on the desk the entire time. Looks like some background process is triggering the play/pause command sending it to the app.
My phone is running the latest version of MUI 10, rooted and I do use button mapper app in the background.
Now, why would the bluos app include the possibility to pause the playback of an external analog input? It makes no sense. If you want to mute the input, you can just press on the mute button. Why is there a pause in the first place?
Thanks

The NAD C658 is a fully integrated BluOS Player. Why would there not be functionality to Pause it? Mute is Pause as presumably your external connection device if it were a CD Player or TV would continue playing...
(BTW - that request was Closed for comment as it would have been handled by our good friends at NAD Support through a completely different channel
Your best bet as always though is to select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App for one on one support).
