Bluesound 4.0 seems to be broken

Just returned from a short trip and did the updates.  All kinds of problems - sound just stops, though the controller display (in both Windows and iOS) seems to show it still playing.  Grouping appears not to be stable.  "Contend not found" messages when playing from my (up to now) reliable Vault 2i.  Please tell me that someone is working on these problems, or give me suggestions on what to do.  I have rebooted all devices, including my modem, wifi, and all Bluesound devices.

  Completely agree with everybody on this. This may be a router issue but its caused by 4.0 / 4.2

  I thought my sound dropping had been sorted - stable for 3 days - but it has started again. 

  It is a complete mess 

  I really really need to go back to version 3 

  I used to have an amazing soundbar now I have a black rectangle that should go in the bin.
