    Thanks for the feedback and information. Strange there has never been a/the possibility for me to join any beta program.

    I do also run Android 14 beta for example. Easy to access, easy to try and available for the person who want. Perhaps that is something for the future.

    For now, I do hope we will see soon some updates, in firmware as well in software.

    I think some basics are not correct, so I do not understand how this can pass any beta. But I hope we will be more positive surprised in the near future.

    Hi Andrew. Sorry to express my disappointment. It seems the team has done the months of beta testing I asked about, but inevitably the team does not catch every bug. From the perspective of the average customer it’s difficult to grasp how many obvious flaws get missed, even with that vigorous amount of QA. I get it, coding is complicated. Are you using any AI tools in the process? I hear more and more how AI can be implemented to more efficiently test such things.

    I do appreciate what you all do to bring us great products. Thank you.

    I haven't had time to do a real hands on, but a couple of things that should be looked at:

     

    1. When you switch from, say, Tidal to LiveOne or another service, the Playing Now screen is correct (obviously), but the Play Queue defaults to a queue from my last played Tidal album or playlist. It even has a "Currently Playing" designation that's not related in any way to the radio station you're currently listening to. It would likely be better if there was no "Play Queue" option in this case; as it stands, it's confusing.

     

    2. The "Recent Stations" on the home screen don't clear — well, they do, but not even close to right away.

     

    3. I mentioned this earlier, but being able to access Tidal's Daily Discovery list, and other lists suggested by their algorithm, would be fantastic. Hopefully, this will happen in time.

     

    4. Odd that on the "Favorites" tab ("Favourites"? Aren't you guys in Canada?), some of the choices (saved mixes, playlists, albums) are in a tiled format, while others (artists, songs) are not. There's probably a reason for this that I'm just not grokking.

     

    5. A Dirac bass control feature sounds very interesting! Would love to try it out.

    Strange issue.

    I am running BluOS on different devices.

    2 x Andriod phone
    1 x Android tablet
    3 x Windows computer

    1 phone is doing strange. This is a Samsung A33 running Android 13. 
    When running BluOS this is working fine. After closing BluOS. All fine. When for example than Whatsapp is used and the volume is changed to listen to a voice message within Whatsapp, the volume of the NAD M10V2 is changing and not the volume of the phone......

    I can not descripe it in a better way. When I do find out more about this issue, I will send more information and details about this situation.

    I don't think this has been mentioned already. I have FW 4.0.2 on my Node, Android App still on 3.20.7. When playing individual tracks from Amazon Music playlists and selecting the following tack via "Add Next" during playback of the current selected track; after doing this several times during each successively played track the currently playing track eventually continues to populate the now playing bar at the bottom of the screen after it has ended, and the next selected track doesn't start. If I then try and start it manually there is a several second delay after selecting it before it plays. Sometimes it then plays for a few seconds, stops and starts again after a brief pause as if the "Add Next" command and manual play selection are conflicted, but if I just leave it without manually playing the next track, it just continues paused with the last track still showing in the bar and does nothing. I play tracks using this method frequently and never had any issues with previous FW/app versions. (I'm holding off on updating the Android app for now, but 3.20.7 was advertised as BlueOS 4.0 ready.)

    Hi, I went to use my Node 2 today and I'm getting "no player selected/nothing queued" in the IOS app. The light on the player is solid red so I tried holding the play button to reset but this didn't work. Came here and first saw about the new release -- could this be related or do you think the player has a problem? My network seems ok, tried unplugging and disconnecting the player, but still red.

    @Andrew H. is there a definitive list as to which (NAD) products will be getting Dirac Live Bass Control?

    i.e will it be all current models that support Dirac, or a select few of those only?

    And what's the target release date?

    That narrows it down marginally by removing a few products, however does this imply anything with Dirac and multi sub out, will be getting the DLBC update then?

    That'd mean these seem to be the likely candidates: M10, M33, C399, C658, M17v2i, T778 - and of course the upcoming M66.

    It would be fantastic if some clarity could be given on just what models will be retrospectively upgraded with DLBC?

    Secondly, I have experienced issues with the integration of the Tidal service. There have been instances where I am prompted to add the Tidal service, even though it is already connected. The process of logging out of Tidal and adding the service again seems counterintuitive.

    Additionally, I have encountered frequent "remote server error" messages approximately every 10 minutes.

    This sounds like a TIDAL authentication Issue - since you have mentioned logging out and back in, our Support Crew would like to see a log file. Please select Settings, Send Support Request so we may investigate further.

    Another point of frustration is the graphical user interface (GUI) not being optimized for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. The misalignment of labels and buttons makes for a less than optimal user experience.

    Our iOS Team is hoping to release a fix for this soon. 

    The cause is in iOS Settings, under Display & Brightness you likely have Display Text is set to Large Text.

    And today it's gone. Yesterday after the update the option was there. Last night I've turned off the amplifier like usual, and turned it off on main button from the mains. After turning it back on today the option to change inputs is no more.

    I've turned the amp on and off a couple of times, to no avail. In my desperation, looking through Windows and Android apps I've stumbled on the Diagnostic page and there was the Reboot button. When I pressed that the option was immediately back.

    Dear Blusound Support Team,

    I am reaching out to you regarding an issue I am experiencing with the Blusound app.
    Your customer service doesn’t replay at all at my urgent problem. Here to check: #390178

    I have been trying to disable the explicit content filter in the settings, but my changes are not being saved. Each time I restart the app or change the menu inside bluOS, the filter is reactivated. What is the reason of that design? Also tidal app works normal, that this status can’t be pulled somehow.

    This issue significantly hampers my music experience, as I am unable to access many of my preferred songs and albums. I have tried updating and reinstalling the app, but the problem persists.

    Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    thank you for understanding me. I don't know how I can enjoy the system anymore when it hasn't been working properly for weeks. My friends have already recommended that I switch to another manufacturer. But I don't want that because Blusound has always worked as a good eco-system, but since BluOs 4 the system's usability has been extremely limited in my experience. I also have friends who have zero problems with BluOS 4. So it is very device specific and I have great respect for your development department, who will take on all the challenges. I hope you can help me quickly.

    I sent also a video screenshot to #390178 but still nobody replied. By the way, if you contact support via the Blusound app, you will get a message saying that someone will get back to you within 15 minutes. Instead, you receive an email saying that someone will get in touch in about 48 hours. But I can confirm that no one has reported anything for over more than this numbers. 

    If you buy such expensive products, you shouldn't have the impression every time you use them: "Let's see what doesn't work today."

    Hi Andrew,

    since 25.11.2023 Bluesound Support doesn’t answer on my urgent support case. I expect more service from a high value HiFi company.

    I'm also really disappointed with the latest update (4.2.1) which appeared today. Despite the new features, I still can't properly use Tidal due to the context filter limitations. This is quite frustrating as I expected these issues to be resolved with the update. My Vault 2i and NAD10v2 are useless since 3 weeks already!

    @Christopher, with any major changes people are getting used to the changes and asking questions, which are being answered in order they arrived.  I'm not familiar with the context menu limitations you mentioned, your original issue of the explicit on-off bug is being worked on and there is a workaround in the meantime for it which Tony posted.

    As of now my allow explicit is still selected in Tidal since I did this fix.

    That's disappointing to hear. I wonder why they delayed it so long? I thought for sure it was because the Eversolo came out and embarrassed Bluesound with their software.

    Hi Andrew,

    I'm still encountering the issue with the "explicit on-off bug." Could you direct me to the workaround that Tony mentioned? Unfortunately, Tony's profile is set to private, so I'm unable to view all his posts in the community. However, a more pressing question is: when will I be able to use my high-end Hi-Fi devices normally again?

    I have been in contact with two well-known Hi-Fi YouTubers from Germany who are interested in covering this story. I would greatly appreciate your prompt feedback.

    At least make the APK file available to download. I'm stuck waiting for it to eventually become available on my Android when the Play Store feel like releasing it to me. So dumb. I've already been waiting since the spring and now I'm stuck waiting for Google. Where's the APK? This could all be solved if Bluesound provided it. Even their "tech support" didn't even send the APK file in their response email. Big let down on this release.
