How do I listen to related artist radio or related track radio on TIDAL?

Related artist radio in TIDAL plays a mix of required Artist’s music along with similar style music from other artists.

Related Artists Radio

To access the related artist radio in TIDAL, perform the following steps:

Android/iOS - Access Related Artists Radio

  1. In the BluOS Controller App, select the Search tab 021_Searchtab_button.png .
  2. Select TIDAL from the Search drop-down menu. (If TIDAL is not configured, refer to our Help Center article).
  3. Enter the Artist's name in the search box.
  4. Under the Artists section, select the context menu (3 dots) on the artist’s search result.
  5. Select Related artists radio to play music from the selected artist along with similar style music from other artists. 

Windows/macOS - Access Related Artists Radio

  1. Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select TIDAL from the Search drop-down menu. (If TIDAL is not configured, refer to our Help Center article).
  2. Enter the Artist's name in the search box.
  3. Under the Artists section, select the context menu (3 dots) on the artist’s search result.
  4. Select Related artists radio to play music from the selected artist along with similar style music from other artists.

Add Top Tracks To Queue

To play selected artists’ most popular tracks chosen by TIDAL users, repeat until Step 3 and select Add top tracks to queue from the context menu (3 dots).

Track Radio

You can also play radio based on the mood of a song or track. To do this, in Step 3, search for a Track/Song from the Songs section and select the context menu (3 dots) of that song. Select Track radio.

TIDAL Related Artist Radio is now available on Bluesound. Simply Search for any desired Artist in the Search bar. Once located select Related Artists Radio from the Context Menu. To access the Context Menu, select the More indicator (3 dots) to the right of the Artist on your smartphone or tablet or Right Click/Cmd click in Windows or OS X.

Related Artists Radio will play a mix of the selected Artist along with music of similar style from other Artists. Add Top Tracks to Queue will play the selected Artist's most popular tracks as selected by Tidal users.

You can also search for a Track or Song and open the context menu on that track. Select Track Radio  to set a mood based on that track.

Notes

  • Legacy Tidal Consumers using WiMP will have this same functionality when browsing WiMP's catalogue
