Music tracks with the Explicit Content tag can be filtered out when you browse or search in TIDAL.
Filter TIDAL Explicit Content
To remove explicit content from TIDAL in the BluOS Controller App, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Filter TIDAL Explicit Content
- In the BluOS Controller App, select Music tab
to display the Music Sources screen.
- Tap Manage in the Music Services section.
- Select TIDAL. The TIDAL Authorization screen is displayed.
- Select No explicit content.
Windows/macOS - Filter TIDAL Explicit Content
- Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services.
- Select TIDAL. The TIDAL Authorization screen is displayed.
- Select No explicit content.
This is a global setting in the BluOS Controller App, and it removes explicit content from the Search and browse results.
To restore the complete TIDAL catalog, select Include explicit content in the TIDAL Authorization screen.

Music with an Explicit content tag can be filtered out when searching or browsing TIDAL.
To filter out Explicit content, select More Music, TIDAL. On the TIDAL logon page, set the EXPLICIT CONTENT toggle to No explicit content and press update.
This is a universal setting and will remove explicit content from your browse and search results. To restore the complete TIDAL catalogue, return to the TIDAL logon page and select Include explicit content.
