Unable to see my soundbar and Node 2i

I hope to get some answers here since customer support is not replying after more than a week. I am almost at the point of throwing the soundbar and Node 2i into the river. That is how frustrated I am.
I have the Blusound soundbar and Node 2i. Both were working fine with the Blusound app on my iphone. I have since changed to a new iphone and the app has lost both devices. So I reset both and now I can't pair them at all. They connect to my router fine (blue steady light) but the app does not see both devices. No matter how I follow the instruction, I still could not make them work. Any help?

I made sure the app has local network access turn on. It still does not work.
Then I reboot my iphone and it works !!!!! Thanks.

Are all devices on the same WiFi network?

Are you able to connect using another device such as a computer?

done that. Did not see the player. I even used the LAN cable and not wireless and the app couldn't see it either. Sigh....

I'm just a Bluesound customer like you so not official support. Have you tried a full reset of the players? Very frustrating.

yes both devices are reset to factory settings. Thanks for you input.

When you reset to factory settings the only way the light turns blue is if you connect to it as a wifi hotspot and add it to your network. Are you certain the reset worked?

yes I am certain the reset worked because I could put them into hot spot mode (solid green light).
