How to set up Powernode 2i + RT100 + Pulse Sub
BeantwortetI recently got a Pulse Sub (not the + version) to complete my Bluesound setup. The Pulse Sub and the Powernode 2i cannot connect wirelessly, so I bought the RT100 wireless addon. There are some conflicting messages on how to set this up however and I cannot get any sound out of the sub at the moment.
My powernode has been updated in the app and the wireless connection between the sub and the RT100 was succesful, both showed a steady green light after pairing. Shorting the RCA cables on the RT100 makes the sub buzz. I have tried both the Powernode USB-A and an external power supply for the RT100. I have no mono cable at this moment but tried connecting one of the stereo RCA tulips to the Powernode and the jack to the "in" of the RT100, I see this removes the "wireless" word from the subwoofer option in the app but still no sound.
What is the Bluesound advised method to connect these three components?

Thank you Tony, but this article describes the RT100 pairing process, which I completed as described (and works, given that I can create a buzz in the sub by twiddling the wires on the RT100). This does not describe how to connect the RT100 to the Powernode 2i.
I also found a duplicate of my issue: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360048610194-Powernode-2i-with-rt-100 I think referring to an internal document concerning logs. Do you have any additional information?0 -

Thank you for that offer. I bought the RT100 new. The manual makes 2 suggestions for recieving from a wired source and transmitting wirelessly:
- Use USB.
I tried this, but the USB port on the powernode 2i does not work with the RT100. This is confirmed by other posts on this forum.
- Use wires
The outgoing subwoofer source on the Powernode 2i is a single RCA output. The RT100 manual suggests connecting to a default stereo RCA output (not available on the powernode 2i). I tried a RCA (subwoofer) cable with a jack converter, but this, again, gives no sound on the subwoofer. Using the cable to connect the Pulse Sub and Powernode directly without the RT100 works.
I feel there is no workable option for the RT100 to connect to a Powernode 2i. Could you please either confirm this or give me the Bluesound advised way on how I should connect the Powernode to the RT100?0 -
