Blue0S 3.20.25 - POPPING NOISE WHEN SWITCHING PRESETS OR TRACKS
AnsweredHi,
I have a Powernode powering a pair of NEF LS50 Metas and an KEF KC62 Subwoofer. I had the TV running via an eARC connection, and a Phono stage plugged into the auxiliary port.
I purchased the Powernode last week, and all was working well until yesterday when my Powernode 'ungraded' to the latest firmware (Blue0S 3.20.25).
Since that time there is a popping noise when I change tracks, and/or source. I think it may have something to do with the bitrate as reported in similar threads here, here, & here. But I should stress, everything was working well before the recent firmware 'upgrade'.
The pop seems to be coming from the subwoofer, as when I unplugged all sources the pop disappeared and only reappeared once I plugged the sub in again. NOTE: It even happens when I turn the sub off in the BlueOS Controller App.
I have tried a factory reset of the Powernode. No joy.
It is very discouraging, and any help would be appreciated. Pics of my set-up attached.
D
EDIT: Apologies for piling on pressure here, but the popping noise is insufferable; and I have until the 10th of November to return the Powernode. So I need some sort of reassurance or I'll have no choice.

Both of my Powernodes are doing it too, but they have been doing it since I added a sub two weeks ago

I too am getting the popping or crackle but through my mains when I increase the volume from my desktop (Windows app) on my Powernode 2i running newest BluOS 3.20.25 , I have also noticed that when panning either completely to the left or right on the balance setting , if set all the way to the right channel, the left channel still has some output coming through and vice a versa.
