Replacement NAD C700 will only connect to US Amazon Music, I am in the UK
AnsweredI have put in a trouble ticket. Still bouncing around the basic responses.
Apparently the C700 should identify location based on IP/ISP. This one doesn't!
My first, faulty, C700 signed onto UK Amazon Music like a dream!
I have tried editing the US Amazon URL to a UK Amazon Music site with no joy!
I can find now way of switching Regions.. on either the C700 or the Amazon sites.
Does anyone here have any ideas?

The Amazon authorisation page is not a UK page for the UK, I just logged out and back in again to check,
What actually happens / any error messages?
Try a reboot of your router, then when it’s running then reboot the C700, worth also checking you are using a UK DNS server if you know how to do this. Just setting to router to use the ISPs DNS server would do the trick.

Thanks for that nudge… it gave me hope….
I just kept trying, and trying, after multiple emails from Amazon.com telling me I had logged into the Amazon.com website, but no Amazon Music on the NAD, suddenly it just worked.I suppose the fact that I have both a US Login Account and UK Account has not helped.(Sometimes items are not available on the UK site!)I suspect that there was a glitch at the Amazon End. It looks like the rerouting was an Amazon controlled choice.I am NOT Logging Off Amazon Music EVER!!! ;-)
Now how to close the trouble ticket….0 -
Must admit Amazon Music have been having issues that have been ongoing for months now so does not surprise me it started working.
