    Hi David

In the BluOS App for iOS, please select Help, About and make sure your N330 is on BluOS 3.18.7 and the BluOS App is 3.18.1.

If not, please select Help, Check for Update to upgrade the N330 firmware and the Apple App Store to upgrade the App.

If yes, please select Help, Send Support Request so our Support Crew can take a look at the event log of the N330 to help see what is going wrong here.

I have also been experiencing this issue on my Vault 2 since March 2021. Despite providing loads of information to the support crew (FYI of The Crew, see request #220937), they asked that I make a movie of the problem, which I have been unable to do so far as life doesn't allow me the time right now.

I find this issue extremely annoying as it can cause a sudden drop or sudden increase in volume that is not only disruptive to my listening but also for other people in the room.

When I performed some testing, I found that the problem only occurred on my iPad. The Windows and Android clients were OK. I couldn't even reproduce the issue on two iPhones.

Have you also encountered a situation wherein your Powernode ignores your input for a few seconds or even a minute or two? I reported this to Bluesound over a year ago. (FYI of the Crew, see request #220937 for info)

What happens is that I move the volume slider up and down but the volume doesn't change. Then, a few seconds or a few minutes later the volume suddenly goes up and down, i.e. the Vault catches up with my iPad input.

Similarly, I can add a track to the end of the play queue and it takes a minute or two to appear in the play queue.

Also, I can tap on a track in the play queue or track search results listing and nothing happens for a minute or two, after which the track eventually play.

Whilst the Vault is ignoring my inputs, however, the progress bar on the track currently playing continues to advance, suggesting that the network is OK and that the iPad is receiving data from the Vault, but also suggesting that there is a delay in the Vault "polling" the iPad (or whatever it does to process inputs on the iPad) for inputs. If it uses a polling routine with a configurable interval between polls then it seems as though the polling interval is either being messed with or is being incorrectly interpreted by the Vault.

I thought that this issue was also iPad-only, but I am now also getting it on my Windows 10 laptop. This suggests that the Vault is at fault and not the controller.

My software is up-to-date on both the vault and my control devices.

    Hi Tony

    Many thanks.

Didn't I do this way back when? I'm not at home right now but I'll try to do this when I can. (Thursday at the earliest.)

    Best Wishes,

    Ian

This volume slider is a laugh. Hasnt been working for long time. There was some sort of a fix some time ago. didnt fix it, but sometimes it corrected itself after some seconds. Last updates have broken it again, old behavior is back. BS cant fix this. And no, its not the network nor router, all other apps with kind of volume control do work. Its the app.
