    When we hear issues like this - it is usually associated with the muting settings or sample rate switching options of the external DAC you have connected to. It happens at the receiving end of the cable and not at the transit or BluOS end. Please contact your amplifier manufacturer regarding this issue.

    OK - I will contact them.  Since this email, I noticed that it is also happening with my remote Bluesound Pulse Mini, connected via Wifi.  Is that a different issue?
