Sorting Options for Songs, Artists, Albums
AnsweredI've searched and found only old threads on this topic so I'm starting a new one.
It is a real annoyance that on the BluOS app there is no way to sort songs or albums or artists. Grid or list view.... fine, but only marginally useful.
We use Deezer, and I've seen some posts suggesting that this is a Deezer issue. So today I signed up for Qobuz. It is the same in that there are no sorting options. And strangely, when I transferred all our songs, artists, albums and playlists from Deezer to Qobuz, the sorting & listing order is different that with Deezer. And also strange is that songs are sorted in the reverse order with Qobuz than from Deezer.
I'm stumped. And astounded that BluOS has no options for sorting by name, or date added or anything like that. It seems a remarkable omission.
Both the Deezer app and the Qobuz app allow sorting options, including recently played, recently added, and alphabetical by album and by artist. Surely this cannot be too difficult for Lenbrook to work out? I don't have any Eversolo hardware, but from what I've seen, their app does allow sorting options.
Yes, I'm complaining, but also requesting sorting options be added to the BluOS app.
Please. Its time. Really, its time.
And if I'm missing something, great! Let me know. I'm happy to to be stupid if it makes things work as I think it should.

Hi, another user here… the integration in BluOS of streaming services will never match that of the native app. I am a Deezer fan so understand your issue.
For full functionality use the Qobuz app itself and “Qobuz Connect” without any reduced in audio quality. There is a similar functionality with Tidal and Spotify.
My Deezer sources tell me they are also working on adding a connect function like Qobuz, this would then have to be added to BluOS so might be some while before it happens.

Hi Again Seppi,
Its nice to know that someone else uses Deezer, and I do appreciate that BluOS supports it. I'm just trialing Qobuz for now. Hi Res is not high on my priority list, but we'll see what the ears say. I have not explored any of the 'Connect' options or apps or functions.
I can accept that the BluOS control options will be limited in contrast to native apps, but I remain surprised that some simple sorting isn't available. Maybe its just me.
Thanks also for the link to the Connect info.
