    Hello All

Thank you for your patience - we have been able to replicate the issue here. We are currently testing a solution in our Labs which we anticipate releasing on our about January 25th (This coming Tuesday). IN the interim, please unplug your POWERNODE for 2 minutes then plug it back in to temporarily resolve the issue.

We do apologise for the inconvenience.

    Hi-Res

Sometimes TVs can send stray IR or being in close proximity to an RF source can do “strange” things… so keep an open mind. Also check for remote controls with stuck buttons or being sat on in the room, genuinely does happen. Wiping the touch panel clean with a microfibre cloth is also a good idea. I have seen a touch panel on a hifi tuner change presets as a fly walked across it!

I have a POWERNODE N330 in a cupboard but there is a good 20cm above it. You could try turning off the proximity sensor and see if this help. Otherwise I would be tempted to temporarily move the POWERNODE out of the compartment to see if the issue stops.

If it continues then as soon as you can send a support ticket. From the App select Help…Send Support Request. This will send the logs to Bluesound for them to review.

    Hi Seppi,

    Thank you for you comment.

This morning, I have disabled all IR Learning in the app and placed the Powernode out of the compartment. I'll let you know if this stops the issue.
Earlier, when the problem appeared, I disabled the proximity sensor and checked all remote controls for stuck buttons. Disabling the proximity sensor did not help and there were no stuck buttons on any remote control.

I had the same issue today.

Volume on the powernode just went up. Turning it down on the powernode or with a remote just resulted in volume going up after a second again.

I noticed while this happened that the blue light on the front of the powernode kept blinking. While it doesnt blink when i use the remote to adjust the volume of the tv (a Panasonic TX-65hzt1506).

The powernode is currently placed on a desk till i get my new speaker and subwoofer cables. I noticed that one set of speaker cables where hanging over the top and changed that. Also turned off the proximity setting as the powernode will go inside a tv furniture that has a closed front.

There where no stuck buttons on either 2 remotes and it also happened after i closed all bluos apps.

I unplugged the powernode for a while and now it seems to work normal again.

Hello, here the exact same issue with a brand new n330. I see more items of this nature in the community, also with older devices. I see the lit touchpad flikkering sometimes and was able to catch this behavior on video. I can upload this if you want. For now my assumption is that the device is defective. If there is no solution then I have to return the device to the shop.

Apparently my new Powernode has a similar issue.
The volume has a mind of its own and will spontaneously increase to full volume. Any attempts to manually turn it down results in in resuming full volume again by itself.
This is certainly a great way to ruin very expensive speakers. There has to be a fix for this by now, none of the remotes have stuck buttons nor should there be any IR interference as my system is outside under a covered gazebo far away from interfering objects.

I have this same problem with my PowerNode and so does one friend of my. Easiest workaround is to reboot, however, this is not a new problem. I think Bluesound needs to step up and solve this issue.

Thank you for quick reply. The only official comment I find is 10 months old now: “We are currently testing a solution in our Labs which we anticipate releasing on our about January 25th (This coming Tuesday).” Or you have anything else?
    I run on the 3.20.25 build 1790.

Hi Tony since firerider has the same issue as mine what is the fix.Looks like your reply to me to get support help has drawn no reply or help.If you are selling a defective product I will have to seek a full refund and notify in this forum the n330 is a flawed product.

My issue was short lived and resolved itself. I haven’t had reoccurrence since the initial issue.

    Hi Shrikant

The specific issue describe above was an issue identified by QA and resolved. If you are seeing spontaneous volume ramping, it is likely caused by a separate volume slider from an end point such as Spotify Connect or AirPlay. Our Support Cree will be happy to help identify this. Please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so they may review your event log.

To avoid confusion for others, I will be closing this thread from further comments.

    Thanks for understanding.
