Album titles showing in the "Artist" list
AnsweredI converted all my DSD files to FLAC on my hard drive. It took quite awhile but went well. When I reconnected the hard drive to the Node and go to "Artists" many album titles are showing as well. I went to great length to make sure all artists were grouped properly but it didn't help. Why are album titles showing in the "Artist" section? It's very frustrating as it makes searching for artists more involved due to scrolling through many album titles.
Any help with this would be appreciated... thanks!

Hi Bill, Bluesound only reads what metadata is present in the tracks and does not manipulate them in any form.
Would suggest you download a metadata editor that runs on your computer and have a look to see what it shows particularly the Album, Artist and Album Arts fields.

Hi Seppi, thank you for your response. So far Bluesound support has been quick to respond and very helpful!
I tried a metadata editor and it did not show anything that would indicate why album titles are being listing under the artist section. I tried connecting the hard drive to one of my Oppo players and the files are listed by artist with no album titles listed.
So unfortunately this makes navigating my music library more difficult and not as accurate.
Thanks again for your time! Take care, Bill

Glad to hear Bluesound are helping, does sound like something is amiss with the tags and how they are re created but I’m sure they will help.
if you are using a Mac the program XLD whilst has a steep learning curve is very powerful and always worked well for me for conversion and copying across the tagging correctly.
