Node 2i - Issue with Macbook Airplay connectivity
Not sure when this started. It used to work fine but recently I have a problem. Node 2i is connected to Netgear Nighthawk modem/router AC1900, model c7000 via ethernet cable. Node 2i functions as expected.
When trying to connect my Macbook Pro (OS Big Sur) using Airplay, sound stutters or I also get an error message - "An error occurred while connecting to Airplay device (Node 2i name). The network cannot be reached." Other music players, like Sonos connect without issue. I have done reboots, Node and computer several times but issue persists.
iOS devices connect without issue. Macbook connects with ethernet cable without issue.
Appreciate some direction, thanks!

Try a router reboot.

Have a look at your Routers interface and see if there have been any firmware updates, sometimes setting are reset or new ones made as default.
If you have an iPhone / iPad / Apple TV you could try adding the Node to HomeKit (Orange House icon)
Beyond that best to log a support ticket, from the Bluesound App select…Help…Send Support Request.

I did at the Node to Homekit. No Change. Contacting support
