Optical out to a soundbar, don't wanna pass DAC

The only way to connect my new bluesound node to my soundbar is optical cable.

The user's manual points out that I will bypass the DAC function of bluesound while using optical out.

Is there any other options to use both bluesound DAC and optical out at the same time? really keen to play full-decoded MQA on my soundbar

  In this scenario the only way to get MQA using the Node would be via the Analogue outputs, the digital outputs rely on an external DAC to do the decoding. In an ideal world replacing your current Soundbar with a Bluesound PULSE SOUNDBAR+ would be the solution.
