Sound bar not completing installation
AnsweredMy sound bar has suddenly stopped working for no reason after approximately 19 months of use. It shows a constant green light and when I connect to it on Wifi it allows me to go to the next stage which is to select my wifi network. Once selected the green light flashes a little and the app on my phone says it is connecting but then comes up with the message saying "Not Complete! an error occurred while setting up your player, Please try again. I have tried again (about 20 times) but with no luck. Any ideas of what to do? I have turned off the power and restarted. The Wifi is working as my smart TV picks up Amazon etc. Any ideas appreciated as if it is a fault it's an expensive one for such a short time of use for what is quite an expensive piece of kit. It is also attached to a bracket so not easy to connect to my wifi hub. Thanks.

Hello Richard,
I suppose since it's up on a bracket it may be difficult to run an Ethernet cable temporarily from the Soundbar to your router so it may complete the upgrade/setup process?
If possible, try that; in the meantime, I've escalated your case so that a member of our support crew may look into this further.

Thanks Sam, Unfortunately I can't connect direct unless I take off the bracket and also the power is via a spur and I don't have a spare cable. I look forward to hearing from the support crew as it is very frustrating. Thanks, Richard

Just to let you know that I solved the problem myself by not using the iPhone app and logging into the website http://10.1.2.3/ and configuring the Wi-fi link manually. I hope it helps if anyone else has the same problem.

Thank you for the update, good to know and good to hear you're back up and running. I'll let the support crew know they can close the ticket I created.
