Tidal won't play
AnsweredI bought a Powernode 2i specifically to play Tidal, but have not been able to play a single tune. Everything looks fine from the app, i added tidal, it connects fine, my playlists are there, but when i hit play, nothing happens and then maybe 10 seconds later i get a "time Out" error. I had good signal strength but connected to ethernet hardwire and that didn't help. I have logged in and out of Tidal, my apps are up to date, the hardware is up to date. I even tried using a different account, Spotify works, the radio functions work (some of them), but Tidal was the main reason that I bought it. I will be returning the unit in the next couple days as it is not fit for my purpose, I suppose it may be a hardware issue. I have a request in for support but have not heard back from Bluesound. Is anyone else having this issue? I have many hours into troubleshooting this brand-new device, it is rather frustrating.

Hello Vincent,
Very curious that Spotify works but you are receiving a Time Out error on Tidal, even when connected over Ethernet. Does TuneIN stream consistently?
I'd recommend giving both the Powernode and your router a reboot just to refresh everything. If that still doesn't resolve the isue, I would recommend trying to log in using the following steps:
Please try the following steps:
- Open the BluOS app and navigate to Help > Diagnostics and note the IP Address
- Open a web browser (such as Chrome or Safari) and type that IP Address into the address bar, then hit Enter.
- This should load the Control Panel of your device. You should see Configure Music Services here. Go into that menu and scroll down until you find Tidal
- If there is a Tidal account signed in, hit Logout. Then, re-enter the page (if it does not reload) and sign in with your Tidal credentials.
- Test streaming

Solved! Control Panel and then relogin to Tidal
