Sub Output Weak after update
AnsweredI just updated BluOS app to latest version. I am using Node 2 via analog to Denon receiver. Before the update, bass output was strong. Now it sounds as if the sub is barely on. The sub is connected by RCA cable to the receiver. To make sure the issue was not the sub itself, I tested it with the HEOS app and the bass is still strong. But obviously no MQA through Heos. Any suggestions on a fix or will there be another update to fix this? I’m sure I’m not the only one having this problem. This update just came out today I believe

This problem has resurfaced. There isn't enough gain coming out of the Powernode 2i Subwoofer output.

I had the problem of diminished sub output on my Powernode 2i about 10 months ago then Bluesound issued an update to fix it. I am not experiencing any similar issues as of 2:15 PM EST on 6/18/2021. Just my 2 cents

Bought the 2021 Node and found the same issue with diminished sub output. My Wharfedale sub produces tiny sounds using an RCA cable from the node sub out to the woofer's LFE input. I'm using the latest firmware version 3.14.26. Anyone still facing this problem?

Hi Tony - Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so we may take a closer look and provide some pointers for your environment.

Hi, I did but the solution provided doesn't help me. I bought a small portable headphone amp and use it to boost the sub out signal from my Node and it works nicely. Enjoying strong bass ever since..

I am getting no subwoofer output from my N150 powernode which I have just received back from having a failed power supply replaced. I assumed it was an issue that was due to the repair but after reading this not so sure. I have submitted a support request before I have to send it back.....again.

Hi Tim
Keep working with our Support Crew, but if the output was fine before service and changed during service, it is possible that service missed something.

No there is no subwoofer coming from my node 2. This is definitely an issue with the node 2.

I don't think it's new. I had always used a processor prior so I know my subwoofer is fine. I recently got rid of my processor recently so using the node as a Dac. I have rebooted and even updated to latest firmware. No sub signal at all.
