MDC BluOS 2i Update - NAD Auto
I've recently purchased the NAD C 368 Integrated Amplifier with DAC with the BluOS module integrated. At the most recent update of the BluOS system (2 weeks ago), I've noted that "Auto Standby" is no longer functioning correctly. When using Spotify, which doesn't work seamlessly with BluOS, NAD does not appear to register that the system is active, and turns off after 10 or 15 minutes.
Auto Standby, is a great feature, and environmentally friendly, but isn't great if when streaming Spotify, your Hi Fi automatically turns off if you don't change tracks every 10 min.

Hello Jacques,
I have just tested what you have described here with a C368 in our office and have been unable to replicate this issue you are experiencing with Spotify and Auto Standby. To help us look into this further for you, could you please send us a diagnostic log from your C368 the next time this issue occurs?
You can send this log by going to Help > Send Support Request in the BluOS app and submitting a request. The diagnostic log will be automatically included.Once we receive the log here, a member of our support crew will review it and work with you to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I've the exact same issue with my NAD C388 with integrated BlueOS 2i MDC module.
Auto standby is only initiated when using Spotify Connect. I have sent a support request including .log - files to your support team. I hope this will be fixed soon, otherwise I need to change brand.

Hi Alex.
I was responded to directly. Here is what was recommended, which sort of worked. It does still happen occasionally. Hopefully this will be resolved at the next firmware update.
Good luck.

Hello Jacques,
Thank you for contacting the BluOS Support Crew. I hope you are doing well.
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response.
In this case, I would advise performing a power cycle on your C368 by turning off the power switch behind the unit for 30 seconds before powering it back on.
From here, as a test, may you please try turning off Bluetooth on the BluOS MDC by going to Settings -> Player -> Customize Sources -> Bluetooth -> Disabled on the BluOS Controller App. Please ensure that your C368 is selected first under the "My Players" (house-shaped icon) before going into the settings menu to disable Bluetooth.
Also, may you please ensure that you are connected to your C368 via Spotify connect on one device only during this test.
From here, try testing your C368 while listening to Spotify over the next couple of days to see if the problem persists.
Hopefully this helps, and please keep me posted. I will be more than happy to help!
Take good care,
Eric W.

Hello,
Is there any solution to this? I have the same problem with my NAD C388.
This is really annoying and makes the whole system unusable.
Best regards,
Jerome

Hi Tony,
Unfortunately, that didn't help. I sent a support request to Bluesound but haven't had any reply in 2 weeks.
