Very slow BluOS Controller - Mac desktop 10.14.1
AnsweredNew Node 2i
Mac OSX 10.14.1
macbook pro
Tidal
Problems:
- very slow searching of Tidal
- playback halts at times
- sometimes the app just hangs
I was using Sonos before and there is no question that this sounds better, but the usability might be a deal breaker.
Is there anything I might do to get the app performing better?

Hello Colin,
To have us investigate this issue further for you, please send us a diagnostic log from your player the next time these issues occur. The log can be sent by selecting Help > Send Support Request through the BluOS app. Once we receive the log, a member of our support crew will gladly investigate this further and work with you to find a solution.

Thanks Wesley P.,
I will do that.
One thing that jumps out right away though now that I am looking around under Help, is in Help > Diagnostics the wifi signal strength is shown as "weak". However, when I put my laptop (MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) in the same place it shows full bars and operates normally. Does that sound right? I wouldn't expect the Node's wifi card to be much different from a 5yo laptop...

Hello Colin,
I was having the same issue with Tidal stalling when I typed a band "search". I got the standard "please understand the app
is always under development" answer which doesn't help at the time. I eventually because of (Windows 10) other apps slowing down as well. I did a full "refresh & reinstall" of Windows and now it works perfectly. Maybe with your Apple products the same thing will help.
