I typed "Talk to Blue Voice pause in the Den" into Google Assistant and finally got the correct response. Suggest changing your instructions as there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I was doing...frustrating!!!!

    as per the instructions :

''When first using Blue Voice through Google Assistant, the Google Assistant will respond with "Okay Google, let's get Blue Voice", and then a different voice will say "Okay, how can I help you". Say "Setup" where you will be asked to set up a Blue Voice account. Verbally say "Yes" to the prompts from your Google Assistant to set up your account. Alternatively, you can also complete these setup steps through the Google Home app''.

The setup process blocks after the blue voice command ''how can I help ''?

When you say ''setup''  nothing happens.

No clear indication how to set this feature via google home app.I tried and failed as no blu voice service is found .

    Kinda frustrating.

am a NEW (happy, still) user of an M10.

Before purchasing this item at my dealer i wanted to be sure it was Google assistant compatible and the answer was YES! I didn’t want to downgraded my ONKYO streamer experience moving to NAD. And this fact was also confirmed on the NAD website.

Unfortunately after spending a hole afternoon and more on research and lot of try-out, I feel disappointed . It does not work, and I am far from there!

I have currently more than 160 devices from a lot of different (incl. Chinese’s) manufacturers (lights, multimedia...) that work well with the Google assistant.

In the normal Google Home setup, you first need to mention the brand names to add new devices, unfortunately NAD, BlueSound & Lenbrook are not listed (in spite of a very, very long list) That means that BlueSound/aka blue voice decided to use a non-standard way to implement theirs devices. Same for installing the BluOS on MacOS, you do not find it in the normal AppStore, you need to download it from their website. It does not make it easier for the user ! (Please look at Apple)

Did there exist a better method to implement Goggle Assistant than the one described here "https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035677894-Getting-Started-with-Google-Assistant ?

By the way I would like to have some user’s experience about ALexa!

    Regards Denis

This is indeed a bit embarrassing. This issue is posted 6 months ago in https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/12615646144919-Google-s-sunsetting-of-Conversational-Actions-and-BluVoice-

Unfortunately I still see on bluesound.com "works with the Google assistant".
I still can't find any information whether this issue will be solved in bluos 4. Is there an update on this?

    Hi Denis

The BluOS Actions on Google add-on was developed with Google so not sure why you consider it non-standard and is fully certified by Google meeting their specs. If you are having issues installing it or getting it running, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we can review the log file and see what the connection problem is with 1:1 troubleshooting.
