Pulse P300 stuck in upgrading mode (Red Light)
AnsweredHello,
I am disappointed to say that my Pulse P300 is bricked.
I woke up to find the mute LED to be solid red. Looking at the documentation it is stuck in "upgrading mode".
I've tried a factory reset as well as attempting to install the latest firmware from USB. Both of which did not work.
I feel trapped in the Bluesound Ecosystem. I have a Pulse Bar and DUO + Sub which sound great, but their pairing functionality and software is pretty bad. Something that I would not expect after spending $2,000+ for a sound system.
At this rate I'm pretty fed up with all of the Bluesound products which is a real shame because I genuinely really like the way they sound. But my Pulse P300 getting bricked was the last straw.
I'm sure there could be some trouble shooting but at this point, I'm hoping that the customer service will shine here. I've worked with Bluesound's customer service in the past and they are great. Always very nice and can help me identify issues. I've never really gotten any proper solutions since it always seems that the software itself is to blame.
At this rate, I would ask to see how I can return my Pulse P300, and all of my other Bluesound components (Pulse bar and DUO).
Thanks,
-Jason

Dear Tony,
I have now the same problem. I think I have tried it all, including firmware update etc.
Same result, the led flashes red after update firmware and restart.
Do you have a solution?
Best regards

A red flashing LED is a hardware fault. I am escalating your request to our Support Crew for more details on your location and repair options.
