Folder contents not showing after re-sync library (Android)
AnsweredI have seen other posts similar but not the same so here goes. After adding an LP it
1 does not show up in the library>new list
2 does not show up in the library>artist list
3 DOES show under library>albums and the tracks can be played
4 does not show from text search for the artist
5 DOES show from text search for the album title. It finds the album and artist and the individual songs. From there tapping the album OR the artist brings up the message "service unavailable." However tapping an individiual song DOES work.
I have force stopped the app, deleted the cache and done a library rebuild.

Hi Matthew
I have escalated you to our Support Crew. They will be in touch via e-mail.

On that particular album, are the Artist and the Album Artist meta tags different?

Yes, but I have thousands of tracks in compilation albums where that is also the case, and they show up fine. I set Album Artist as "Various Artists" for those. Here is a screenshot of one of the problem tracks' metadata from foobar2000:

So Artist Name and Album Artist are different...

Yes they are indeed.

This has been marked as Answered but has not been. Is there a solution please?

I think it is a software bug, but having trouble getting that acknowledged. See: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/34409923157143-Artist-Album-Artist-tagging-problem

Unfortunately, different complaints about what basically seems to be the same problem result in different answers, for example see here: https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/33609430555415-Issues-with-Library-New-since-latest-update

@Peter Swanson. Apologies I thought you *were* dev support.
I've now seen similar posts and apparently a fix has been identified.

That's OK! I think that what you (and a lot of other people) are seeing is an acknowledged bug. I have this message a little while ago: "Following discussions with our Engineering team regarding your specific issue, they have replicated the issue in our labs. Our Engineering team will conduct further investigation and provide a fix for this issue in an upcoming firmware update."
Do keep reporting the problem, as it may help prioritise the fix.
