Try rebooting your Router and wait five minutes followed by your BluOS device, if that does not help email BluOS Support regarding your Roksan device support@bluos.net

Thank you. I did all this a few times and mailed support. Got same instructions again, did it again. Now Attessa Shows updated BluOS Version 40.10.13, but problem remains. Shows up a few seconds in app then gone again.

BluOS App is behaving strange, on Android and iOS. It shows the player while searching as ready to play, but the search for more players never stops. No option for stop or exit or back to home, when I close the window player is gone. Bluesound Support is not reacting.

Hello - this is what fixed my problem: We took the device (in my case Roksan Attessa amp) out of the network and connected it to a different WLAN. We also used a different phone with BluOS app. Again, the Roksan didn't properly show in the BluOS app (it was visible, though not active, the search icon went on spinning all the time, and the Roksan disappeared again after a few seconds). We then connected it to the LAN, switched off the phone and found out that the OTA update was actually not properly completed. This was when the factory reset eventually fixed the problem. Now everything is working fine again.

An edge case probably.... We had been travelling for a few months and just came back, this is why the two updates were coninciding. Our best guess is now that the Roksan device got stuck in firmware update loop that was re-triggered all the time  by BluOS app constantly polling (this didn't change when the app was paused  or even deleted and re-installed).

If we can suggest something, it would be an option to interrupt device search on the app. Maybe we could have saved some time and trouble by interrupting the search loop.

Oh and another thing, Bluesound support took a little time to respond (different time zone), but then was really nice an tried their best to help, thank you guys.
