Is there a difference between the streamer component of a Nano vs. Icon or Node?

I am using a Node into a really good DAC for Streaming. If I streamed from a Node or an Icon,

would sound quality improve? Is the streaming circuitry of the Node different from the others?

  As you are bypassing the DAC in the NODE or any other Bluesound device by using the digital output I suspect you will not find much if any difference.
