Audio drops with hdmi arc
AnsweredMy LG tv is through HDMI arc connected with my Powernode 2i (4.4.11). The audio drops every couple of minutes for a second or so. Issue does not appear when audio is played through tv speakers. I have this set-up for 4 years, the issue is recent. One change is a different hdmi cable, another is newer Blue OS.
I’ve tried a different HDMI cable, the issues stays.
Any idea what might resolve this? Thanks.

Does it happen with the old HDMI cable? If it does, please select Settings, Send Support Request in the App but I would consider first shutting everything off (including unplugging from the wall, and replacing the HDMI cable.

Thank you for the response Tony.
I've had a similar issue where after an HBO app update the audio in HBO was gone. An HDMI cable replacement resolved that issue strangely enough.
Is there a version indicator or something like that for an HDMI cable that would be best?
Thanks again

Well...
Our good friends down the hall at NAD Electronics always encourage consumers to "Trust the cable with the label" when installing one of their AV Receivers.

Hi Tony, replacing hdmi cables indeed solved the issues. I got certified cables from Qnected.
I had to replace both cables Tv - tv modem and Tv - Power node. Replacing only the latter was not sufficient.
Thanks again for the support.1
