Okay after futzing around it is working, I have no idea what I did differently, thank you Seppi Evans. But it is all working as expected, even the .mp4 cover are displaying correctly. The one linger question why are there 2 USB icons displaying? The top icon seems to lead nowhere.

Possibly the USB drive has two partitions, even a hidden one would get picked up ?

That's what I thought but no, just 1 partition, (fat 32) checked with disk utility for mac. Now some of images are not showing up today that were defiantly there yesterday. Rush Permanent Waves being one example and some are not showing in all sections of the interface. Moving Picture. This is very frustrating.

Diskutil won’t show everything unfortunately but will using terminal, if both USB devices disapear when the drive is removed then it’s highly likely to be a hidden partition.
If you had a blank USB memory stick handy you could plug it in an and see what is displayed.
Artwork, there is a reload artwork option in the BluOS App which may help.

You can only add artwork to tracks or albums unfortunately, the artist folder won’t contain any tracks to index and pickup the artwork.

Thanks for all the help Seppi. This is weird how some of the graphics get picked up by the embedded artwork and some don't. I'm sure there is some reason for it but I cant figure it out. All I can say to the people doing the programming is, I appreciate that the job is tricky, but I paid a lot of money for something that should be simple and delight to setup and operate. I wish there was step by step documentation in one place that I can download and print out instead of having to check on a forum and rely on the knowledge other users.

There is a brilliant program called Bliss that runs on many platforms including MacOS, it makes sorting out the artwork easy once you get to know the program.
If you make any changes to the artwork you must run a “Rebuild Index”
There is a handy webpage detailing artwork and worth checking out.

Thanks for the help Seppi, I used Bliss and it was a great help, unfortunately there still a few lingering problems.
- When accessing from the artist view the links at the top of the page play a completely different song. This happens on all artist pages.
- Some of covers are still showing up as black box.
in some parts mentions the graphic should be named cover.jpg in other The cover.jpg neither clear up the problem.
I have run the index but it does not help. these black boxes remain.
