Node Gen 3. Node N130

It's my understanding that the N130 and those identified as Node Gen 3 are the same unit, is this correct? The question is regarding the USB A input/output. Can the Node Gen3/ N130 output a digital signal via this USB jack? If so,then that would be the reason to upgrade from the 2i. I can only get 192khz via the USB A output via my computer to the USB B input on my NAD M-51 dac. If I can do this via the N130 or Gen 3 then I will upgrade

  Same thing.

  The N130 has a USB output, normally a USB output can transmit as much as an external DAC can take.

  The internal DAC of the N130 is 32/384.

  But seems to be stuck at 192/24 according to this post when it comes to reading, I don't know if the answer is the same for the USB output.

  There are some deals about now on the Node. On older Nodes it has been reported that the case goes sticky, so maybe a good time to sell yours? To be honest I would be considering other brands now, there are plenty. The latest upgrades have encouraged to think of changing soon. Changing because of USB, depends on what external DAC you are using.
