Question about Node optical out.
AnsweredWhen I've streamed music or played from usb and I pause the Node it goes into standby after 15 minutes but the optical out stays active, it never turns off. I also have my tv connected to the analogue input on the Node using the headphones socket on the tv. When I pause the Node after I'm done watching tv the optical out turns off after 15 minutes when the Node goes into standby. Why does the optical out never turn off after streaming or usb playback but it does when I'm using the analogue input?
Edit: So it turns out the optical out is turned off immediately when I'm on the analogue input and pause the Node. I wonder if this means the Node also goes into standby straight away.

Lots of people have issues with the optical output emitting signal when the Node is supposed to be on standby. I have been asking for a solution, but after the issue was reproduced by support engineers, nothing but crickets. https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/20227998168727-The-Node-X-Optical-OUT-keeps-emitting-signal-when-the-Node-is-in-standby-update-required
