Spotify starts to play on its own
Hello,
Since a few weeks i have a new stereo amplifier with only analog inputs in combination with a Bluesound NodeX.
My TV is connected to the Arc-input of the NodeX
I also use Spottify Connect from my Samung S23 ultra and or Tablet
What I noticed since day one and i can't solve it:
(Found a similar issue but the solution didnt't work for me)
Everytime I turn on my amplifier and TV (mostly in the morning) I hear Spotify playing before the NodeX switch to the ARC input. And when I shut down the system the night before, I was watching TV. I already had this issue before the BluOS upgrade
This morning I did another test. Plugged in a headphone in the NodeX, before powering on my amplifier and TV. And again Spotify was playing and 100% sure, I ended the evening before with watching TV.
What i have done so far:
Disabled "Autoplay similar content" in Spotify
Enabled "Show local devices only" in Spotify
Disabled "Spotify Connect in the background in Spotify
Disabled "Autofill" in Bluesound
Reconnected Spotify premium in the Bluesound app
I cant figure out why or by what triggers Spotify to start play music
Help is appreciated

I have similar issue that has just started to happen. Did you have any luck resolving your issue? My issue: NAD C700. Owned and used for 2 years no problem. They last week or so, it has started playing randomly on spotify at random times. Songs and albums I have never seen or heard before. Random times.. 8am and 4am Approx. Wife not happy with kit turning on at 4am!

Hi,
Unfortunately the issue isn't solved.
The solution in the previous post was not a solution for me.
Still 8 out of 10 times, Spotify is playing when I turn on my amplifier. And I am still convinced that nothing was playing on spotify when I turned everything off the evening before.
If you have suggestions..... let me know!0 -
I had seen another thread with similar issue. It suggested "Try disassociating the node from your Spotify account by selecting in the BluOS App, Music Services, Spotify, Disconnect.". I have done this and logged out of Spotify. I will see how this goes. Update on my issue (for what its worth): I had the issue where spotify started playing random song (some Asian album i have never used. I decided it was a bluOS issue as it only happened on my BluOS NAD C700. I have done as per previous post and removed spotify from BluOS C700. Thought it was resolved. But a few days later, my Onkyo amp in the garage started playing another random Asian track at around 5pm. I was not home and the amp was powered off. This is not a BuOS device. Older Onkyo spotify capable. I wasnt even home at the time. It seems to be Spotify, rather than BluOs related.
I had also disabled spotify autoplay,. Disabled "Spotify Connect" in the background in Spotify
Will update if i resolve
