Node USB out to McIntosh DA2 Crashes DAC

Followed this setup guide to use USB out on a brand new Node SN: K234N130B96124 ordered off Amazon 10/19/23 to a McIntosh DA2 on the MDA200. The McIntosh is giving me the error of DA2 offline with intermittent playback that drops out constantly. Tested using USB with windows surface laptop as source and it works great so I believe the node is causing this failure. Please let me know how to proceed. The device is still in the return window.

Please consult your third-party DAC documentation and see if you can adjust clock timing or trim.

The MDA200 uses a DA2 module. This module has trim for volume, but no clock timing adjustments. I've also noticed I have the issue when the node is constantly giving a notification that it has changed to fixed volume output in the BluOS Controller, but it keeps repeating the message like it hasn't completed the task successfully.

I would contact McIntosh as the notifications as may suggest the DA2 is not communicating up to the NODE correctly. We have no other reports of this issue with McIntosh equipment.

I gave McIntosh a call today and their USB is designed with a computer in mind. McIntosh has a set of drivers to install for windows. They believe the problem is on the Blue Sound for not having the correct drivers. I have clearly stated the issues the blue sound Node is having with not recognizing the DA2 module 100% of the time and sending the DAC into an offline state. Do you have any more information that could be helpful pertaining to the node's drivers.

Since McIntosh states they do not recommend using it this way and require a driver to do so, please use COAX or Optical.
Please keep in mind your Bluesound NODE is a finished goods product and not a kit.
