Node2i skipping tracks when connected over Tidal connect.
AnsweredHi,
I am having real problems using the Tidal connect to my Node2i.
It keeps just skipping to the next track when a track is ending.
Sometimes I can manually press a skipped track 5-6times and it still keeps going to the next one. Eventually it might start playing when continuing pressing it.
I have contacted Tidal support many times with this but they finally just said that they and Bluesound is looking into it?
This issue is making it really hard to enjoy the music on my system when the controllers just keep skipping tracks randomly.
Is there any information regarding this?
This is the answer from Tidal below:
Hello Kristoffer,
Thank you for contacting TIDAL Support. My name is Abbe and I am happy to assist you with your request.
I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble streaming TIDAL on your Bluesound device.
This issue is currently being worked on by our tech team and the Bluesound team.
They are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If you want more information you will have to reach out to Bluesound.

Understood and have used that before the tidal connect capability arrived. Unfortunately, the interface is a pale imitation of the Tidal interface. Spotify is significantly ahead of the game in terms of their app and in their connect capabilities. Artist compensation, bitrate, and MQA aside, I am above all a music lover and use the interface to discover and listen to music. Doing that through BluOS is a royal PITA.

Here in CANADA Tidal Connect doesn't work with the BLUOS app. Sorry, it just doesn't work properly. It skips songs, freezes, won't let you re-enter the app once it forgets you're connected. Please fix as it's borderline useless. Even with the BLUOS app rather than Tidal connect it's still does the same thing.

Our QA Team has informed me they are testing a fix and hope to release it sometime this week. Please keep an eye out for this update in the near future.

Same problem here in The Netherlands,
When I use Tidal Connect to link to my Node 2i, it will connect, but it will generally skip track one, and if I try to skip to the next track, it will fly through several tracks before picking one at random.
I prefer using the Tidal app instead of using the Bluesound app. I dont like the interface of Bluesound. It makes it hard to find music.
Please find a solution for this worldwide problem.

Same here. US East Coast, and the Node 2i update seems to have fixed the Tidal Connect skipping/not playing tracks problem. Nice work.

Same thing in Germany. The fix works. I would like to know, where the problem was. At Blusounds side or on Tidal side.

Thanks again everyone that made this fix a possibility. It shows the dedication by the team to ensure a smooth playback. It's all about appreciating the music, not dealing with a system that distracts from the experience. Thanks again from Canada!
