Thanks again everyone that made this fix a possibility. It shows the dedication by the team to ensure a smooth playback. It's all about appreciating the music, not dealing with a system that distracts from the experience. Thanks again from Canada!

I have the same problem on same device but with ios app, for weeks now. Already contacted Tidal and got a similar answer... Is the issue being addressed already?

Understood and have used that before the tidal connect capability arrived. Unfortunately, the interface is a pale imitation of the Tidal interface. Spotify is significantly ahead of the game in terms of their app and in their connect capabilities. Artist compensation, bitrate, and MQA aside, I am above all a music lover and use the interface to discover and listen to music. Doing that through BluOS is a royal PITA.

Pulled down an update on my Node 2i this evening and no skipping tracks so far, touch wood.

Yay! Updated (BLUOS & TIDAL) and no longer running through tracks/playlists for me as well.

    (US - east coast)

Same here.  US East Coast, and the Node 2i update seems to have fixed the Tidal Connect skipping/not playing tracks problem.  Nice work.

The update fixed the issue, and my NAD c658 works fine now. :)

Same thing in Germany. The fix works. I would like to know, where the problem was. At Blusounds side or on Tidal side.

Much like the TIDAL rep has stated, TIDAL has identified an issue on their servers that is affecting a small number of users, and we continue to work together to resolve it as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience.

I am having a similar issue but with BLUOS on my brand new NAD T758 v3i (and yest I have updated it).  I still have a Node 2i and do not experience the problem there but that's not a great solution as I no longer need an external streamer.

    Any advice?

    • In the BluOS App under Music Services, log out of TIDAL
    • Select Help, Diagnostics, Reboot
    • Wait 5 minutes
    • Log back into TIDAL

If problems persist, please select Help, Send Support Request so the Support Crew may take a closer look

I'll just add my bump and say that I'm having a very similar problem.  Tidal works fine in general, and it works fine when I connect to a Chromecast device.  When I use Tidal Connect to link to my Node 2i, it will connect, but it will generally skip track one, and if I try to skip to the next track, it will fly through several tracks before picking one at random.  I've also sent a similar message to Tidal, but honestly I find Bluesound support to be more responsive.  Very frustrating.

PS.  I have tried the above suggestion offered by the Product Support Manager.  No luck.

    Hi,

I am now seeing the exact same issues as Penn Perry does.

Only when connected over Tidal connect the Tidal app is doing this.

Generally skiping track one, and if I try to skip to the next track, it will fly through several tracks before picking one at random. Waiting for weeks for answers from Tidal. Something needs to be done right now. It's impossible to use Tidal with the Node2i.

I will also add that Tidal Connect and my Node 2i were working as they should until a few days ago. As Kris said, now I cannot use Tidal on the Node 2i at all.

Same issue here using Tidal Connect. Worked flawlessly until a few days ago.

And same issue here. I joined Tidal today, and the problem was there from the very start. I am using Tidal connect on a Node 2i.

Updated my Node 2i this morning and now having the same behaviour as described here with Tidal Connect. Not playing initial selection, skipping multiple tracks. Please advise?

Honestly, I believe this behavior also began for me with the latest Node 2i firmware update.

Indeed, I have the same feeling that it started with last update...

The issue occurs from any device, iPhone, iPad, and my MacBook App... so same behaviour when using Tidal Connect.

I Use NAD C368 with module.. BluOS 2i

Hope you have enough complaints and info to further investigate the issue ..

    Thanks

I can also verify that the behavior persists whether I am using Tidal Connect on Windows or on my Droid phone.
