If other sources work fine on WiFi but Amazon HD is perfect wired it does hint it’s likely to be a WiFi or router issue.

Do check to make sure you are on the latest firmware then try a reboot of your router and followed by another reboot of your Node.

@ Seppi Evans:   So I tried this and again, fine connection for a while & then started dropping.  the diagnostics page in the blueos app says my signal strength is 'excellent', but still won't stay connected.

After the drop outs occur log a support ticket, from the app select Help...Send Support Request

FWIW:   shortly after this discussion the new Node was announced.  I returned the Node 2i & got a new Node when it came out, hoping that the issue with dropouts would be corrected.  Still had the same issue - after playing AMHD for a few hours using WiFi it would start dropping, stuttering etc.  I decided to keep the new Node & use eithernet since I really like everything else about the Node.

Long story short, eventually got a new router & faster WiFi from Verizon & can now stream AMHD via WiFi without dropouts.  Even tho the Node reported an 'excellent' WiFi signal with the old router I guess the connection was the issue.

Count me in the 'Happy Node customer' group.

Bru_T, what were the make/model of your old and new router? Would be interesting to know

Sam R. -  I don't know the make & model of the routers, I just use the ones that Verizon provides.  I changed my plan with them a while ago, went from 75 mbps to 150 & the change required a newer modem/router than what I had with the old plan.
