Node 2i/Alexa Integration

I posted this query 11 days ago in the Android section, with no response. Trying my luck here.

A couple of weeks ago, to get the most from my Amazon HD account, I ordered a Node 2i. I'm very impressed with the sound quality, particularlarly with HR content, and am finding my way around the BluOS app. However, I have a problem with "Alexa" voice commands and Node 2i integration - I can't get Alexa to play requested albums or tracks through the Node.
for example, I ask, "Alexa, ask Bluvoice to play Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd". Alexa replies, "Started playing in the lounge", but it just continues playing a track I had played previously.
Am I missing something, or is the Alexa integration extremely limited?

    Hi Steve - Sorry to hear your original post did not save...

    Please disassociate your Alexa from BluVoice and reassociate in the Alexa App - if problems persist, please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so we may take a closer look...

    When you say "disassociate your Alexa from Bluevoice", do you mean disable BluOS Voice Control, and then re-enable in Alexa's Skills & Games? If so, I have now tried that. Alexa will play Radio Paradise when asked, so Alexa voice command works in that respect. However, Alexa still won't play requested albums or tracks. Alexa replies, "I'm sorry, I didn't understand that".

    Update:

    I've been in contact with BlueSound support. They suggested changing Alexa's language (I chose English/USA).

    This change resulted in showing that Alexa understood my voice command. Alexa now replies "Playing Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd in the lounge". Unfortunately, nothing plays!

    I again contacted BS support with this update, and asked for further suggestions. They responded by sending me a link to "BluOS Alexa Skill Commands", which I had already downloaded and looked at, so not really very helpful, and certainly doesn't solve the problem!

    Judging by their response, BS are actually saying that the function "Alexa, ask Bluvoice to play ***** by **** " doesn't work, at least, not in the UK!

    Has anyone in the UK (or outside of the US) actually got the Alexa voice commands to work with Amazon Music?

    HI Steve - clarification - Amazon Alexa works in the UK. Amazon Music servers in the US allow specific song selection via Alexa to third-party devices, other regional Amazon Music Servers (such as the UK for you or Canada for me) do not allow for this.

    It is a limitation of the Amazon API but something our Product Development Team continues to speak with Amazon about.

    Thanks Tony, for the clarification. I really appreciate it.

    Why couldn't Bluesound official support have told me that? Instead of just pointing me to the BluOS  Alexa Skill Commands PDF, thereby implying it was possible, that I just had to decipher some hidden code within it🙄.
