Node X with external DAC: Nothing switches off. Node is constantly on!
AnsweredHi.
I'm using a Node X with the Topping E30 II DAC. I'm satisfied with the result in audio quality and love the combination of the Node X with an external DAC.
I am having one big issue though:
The Node X doesn't switch off at all. Not even after 15 Minutes. The DAC things, it's still receiving signal from the DAC and also doesn't go into standby.
When I use Vacation Mode (Long-press the blue button on top of the Node X) the DAC switches off completely after losing signal.
How can I tell the Node to switch off after 15 minutes of idling? It doesn't go into a standby state at all.
Thanks

Correct. We've been waiting years for this 'feature' to be fixed...

Irritatingly the digital outputs of all variants of the Node are always 'on' - even when in standby/sleep mode. The outputs are only disabled if either Vacation Mode is invoked or the Node is powered down.

Meaning that the DAC will never Auto-power itself off, because it's always "receiving" signal, right?
There is absolutely no solution to this?

It is annoying this and the explanations that seem to come from Bluesound don’t add up. You would think it would not be a hard fix.
