Song Ordering 01, 02, 03, ... vs randomizing
AnsweredHelp: When I look at an Album, I see the songs randomized. I like randomizing at times, but how do I disable this? I =also like to listen to the songs in the correct order. I have not figured out how to reorder get the songs listed in order in the BlueOS app. Yes, the randomize icon is greyed out and this seems to not have any effect.
Any tips appreciated

Ok so I found that icon when I browse my music through the Folders --> Share --> mp3.
That icon does not appear when I browse my Library --> Artists --> Albums.
Did I miss something? If not, then are you saying that I can only listen to whole albums in order by going through the Folder menu?

Library - Albums - Sort by *
or
Library - Artists - Album - Show All
Sorting by track number should be descending as long as your files are correctly tagged. I guess your's are not if you have issues with that.
Also, if you have different file types in an "album", they will not be sorted correctly.0 -
OK, maybe thats the issue. Maybe the songs are not correctly tagged. The song names on the mp3 files on disk start with:
01 ...
02 ...
03 ...
And the song names in the metadata has the same. What else needs to in the metadata or the songs to be displayed 'in order' ?? I use player to listen to music on my computer. Here's some of it's output:
Playing /Users/u2/Media/mp3/Aerosmith/[1974] GetYourWings/01 SameOldSongAndDance.mp3.
libavformat version 58.27.102 (internal)
Audio only file format detected.
Clip info:
Title: 01 Same Old Song And Dance
Artist: Aerosmith
Album: [1974] Get Your Wings
Year:
Comment:
Genre: Unknown
As far as I know, thats all that should be required for the BlueOS app to display the songs in the correct order? Or is there something else?

Yep, ok. I did not know that there was a track number field in the metadata. I will take care of that the next time I recreate my MP3's.
Thanks, Jim
