Node N130 Coax interrupts "sleep state" with active speakers
AnsweredMy Node N130 is connected using Coax to my Dynaudio Focus 50 active speakers, issue here is that every time I put the speakers to sleep at night, they will wake up again shortly after, can anyone confirm that Bluesound Coax is always active or maybe it send some kind of sync keep-alive at regular intervals?
I have tried deleting the queue and shutting down the app, but nothing seems to help. I have also tried two other DAC and my old ZP80 Sonos steamer and here I have no issues with the speakers waking up.
It's not a major thing but it would be nice to save a few bucks on the electricity bill.

Hi Rasmus
A connection or source is keeping the NODE form sleeping. Please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App, so our Support Crew can review the system event log and determine what may be the cause.

Hi Tony,
Thank you for taking your time to reply, I have submitted a support request.

Hi Rasmus,
Unfortunately the digital outputs of the Node are permanently active - even if it is in 'sleep mode' - and this is preventing your speakers sleeping themselves. You could get around this issue by powering down the Node (or invoking vacation mode) each evening or, alternatively, using the Node's analogue outputs instead of the digital coax.2 -
It seems that Tony W. is still in denial about this problem:

Hi David
Back in December, it looks like you resolved your issue. If you are in fact, still having issues with sources keeping your NODE awake, please e-mail our Support Crew with the make and model of your external device and they will be happy to help troubleshoot it for you.

After being told by support that the digital outputs are always on in standby, I resolved the issue by returning my Node to Amazon and have recently bought a Wiim Pro!
