Pulse Sub+ losing sync with multiple users

I have the pulse soundbar+ and pulse sub+.
I have a problem with the sync of the pulse sub+. Me and my girlfriend both have the blusound os and when we switch who uses the soundbar, the bass goes out of sync 10 times out of 10 tries.
My girlfriend uses android and I use iPhone.
The bass goes out of sync with up to 5 seconds. There is nothing wrong with our internet, we have high speed and everything else in our network works great.
Normally taking the bar and sub off power seems to work the problem. But lately even this wont work. Lately I will have to break the pairing and re-do it, but now it seems this wont work either and I will probably have to do a factory reset.
The way we usually switch users is to go into spotify and change the playback output to the soundbar. Are we doing it the wrong way? Is there something else we need to do in order to have it work?

It may more likely be an audio setting in the Bluesound SUB+. Try opening the Audio Settings in the SUB and set the phase to 180. That may help. If it does not, please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App.
